Natwest and Nelson Myatt Solicitors in association with the West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce held the second meeting of the North Wales Women’s Business Network on the 30th April at The Quay Hotel, Deganwy.
The event attracted approximately 30 women providing them with the opportunity to network informally on arrival and then on a “round the table” basis which was very popular. This allows each delegate to talk to the others on their table about what they do and what they are looking to achieve from networking.
There was then an inspiring talk by Janey Hart Parry from Hart Parry Accountants and Business Advisors, an award-winning practice based on Parc Menai in Bangor. Janey gave delegates an overview of her professional journey over the last 30 years and how she has moved her practice into the 21st century. She also gave delegates a useful quick overview of tax planning for businesses.
The group will next meet on Tuesday 7th July at 9.30am at The Quay Hotel in Deganwy. At this meeting as well as the chance to network again, there will be a talk by Louise Webster who is a Gold Travel Counsellor. Louise will talk about how diverse her role is from helping businesses with all of their travel needs to helping individuals realise their travel dreams and finding their own little bit of paradise!
