Achieving this status in the Government scheme shows that we take security very seriously and our cyber defences have been assessed as satisfactorily meeting the required standard to protect our systems against Cyber attack. It all adds up to service you can rely on.

We know that the IT world is constantly changing, we are always looking for ways to move forward too. We have also had to respond to the challenges of a new world since the Covid pandemic took hold.

Recently we have introduced on line payments thus giving our clients the ability to pay using debit or credit cards alongside BACS transfers.

We have for some time now provided instant quotes on our website for conveyancing matters, it’s easy to use yourself or just give us a ring and we will have sent you the quote before you get off the phone.

We have introduced Law Connect, a secure on line portal where clients can view documents we share with them, download, complete and upload form digitally thereby saving printing and eliminating the time a physical document would take to be posted and returned. Clients can also access their up-to-date statement of account showing money they deposit and costs out to third parties such as estate agents or Land Transaction Tax.

We have started to produce some documents with digital signatures, this work is ongoing and we are restricted in some legal areas but we continue to strive for a fully digital solution. Of course we still accept traditionally signed and completed forms but want to embrace the new world in which we find ourselves.

Electronic checking of Identification is next on our list where clients use their smartphone via an app that uses biometric data to verify them against an uploaded passport. Watch this space for more developments.
