Serving clients throughout Wales and England, we handle a broad range of civil matters with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes.

Security & Client Portal

At Nelson Myatt, the security of our clients is paramount. That's why we use Law Connect, a secure platform for sharing and managing documents. This system allows clients to access their documents, upload information securely, view invoices, and check their account balance—all in one convenient place. Learn more about Law Connect by following this link.

Client-Focused from the Start

Since our founding in April 2014 by Claire Myatt and Andrew Nelson, our focus has been on providing exceptional client service. Both Claire and Andrew bring unique perspectives, having transitioned into law from other careers, which enables them to take a pragmatic and solution-focused approach to every case. Our client-centric ethos is reflected in the glowing testimonials we’ve received, highlighting our commitment to delivering a personal and supportive legal service.

In September 2023, Nelson Myatt transitioned from an LLP to a Limited Company, marking a new chapter in our growth while maintaining our core values.

Our Approach

We understand that seeking legal advice often comes at a stressful time—whether you're going through a divorce, separation, or a house move. Our mission is to ensure each client feels supported and fully informed throughout the process, offering a bespoke service tailored to individual needs.

Accreditations & Expertise

We are proud to have earned various accreditations that underscore our commitment to quality service. Andrew Nelson is a registered member of Resolution, an organisation dedicated to constructive, non-confrontational family law practices. We’ve further enhanced our family law credentials by securing the Law Society's Family Law Accreditation, reflecting our expertise in this area.

Additionally, Nelson Myatt is an accredited Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) solicitor, a mark of excellence administered by the Law Society. This recognition demonstrates our dedication to providing high-quality, reliable conveyancing services to residential homebuyers and sellers.

Our History

Nelson Myatt has continually evolved since its inception, expanding our reach and adapting to new challenges. In May 2019, we opened a branch office in Rhos-on-Sea. However, due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, we made the difficult decision to close this branch in July 2020. In response, we introduced greater online access for clients, and some of our staff now work remotely, ensuring we maintain flexibility while delivering excellent service.

Awards & Recognition

Our hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed. In 2018, Nelson Myatt was proud to win Conwy Small Business of the Year and be named finalists in the Daily Post Business Awards in the same category. These accolades are a testament to our commitment to growth, innovation, and client satisfaction.

From the beginning, our Clients have been our priority and this is shown by our many brilliant client testimonials.
